Shama Ghee Mills Nowshera

This Ghee manufacturing unit was established in 1989 in Multan in a fairly large plant area. The building is designed by professionally qualified architects, the plant and machinery was designed and installed by a well known local fabricator.
Askari Cement Nizampur

Plant of ACN is located near village Kahi in District Nowshera: 22km south west of Khairabad on the Khairabad-Kohat Road and on the right bank of Indus River. The plant has been installed by AWT as its project. The plant consists of two lines, which make ordinary port land cement through the dry process.
Cherat Cement Factory

A premier name in the field of cement manufacturing, was incorporated in 1981 and is listed on the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad stock exchanges. The plant is located about 52 kilometers from Peshawar (NWFP) near Nowshera. The factory is built on land bordering the Cherat Hills, the factory’s source of high quality limestone.
Pakistan Locomotive Factory Risalpur

The Pakistan Locomotive Factory at Risalpur, a public spread on an area of 251 acres (102 ha), was put into service in 1992 with the collaboration of Government of Japan at a total cost of Rs.2284.00 million, including a foreign exchange component of Rs.1496.00 million.
